The birth of Montreal, per the Jesuits, May 17, 1642

 A few weeks ago, a Montreal resident called in to TFR and let it be known how Catholic the city is, with its wide variety of ancient architecture and churches.  47 probably is the most important number in the study of letters and numbers. Let's take a look.
