Religious Exemption
Statement of Declination for Offer of Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccine Product
I,
Benjamin Tetzlaff, a living man, retain and reserve all of my God-given rights
including sole possession and sole use of all my biological materials which are
granted to me by God, my Creator.
My school of higher education, Fairleigh Dickinson University, has asked of me a Coronavirus Disease 2019 vaccination product pursuant to and satisfying the requirements of their own Health & Safety Requirements. This was first requested in an April 15, 2021 email with the subject heading "Fall 2021 Semester" to the students and employees of Fairleigh Dickinson University, sent by President Christopher A. Capuano. It is stated in the email that "FDU will require all students who attend either the Metropolitan or Florham campus to be fully vaccinated before the fall semester begins." The email also acknowledges that religious exemptions will be provided "when warranted."
I
retain the right to decline all attempts to access, influence and/or otherwise
alter any and all of my God-given biological material and/or biological systems
which are unique, flawless and original design and craftsmanship of my Creator
and of which my Creator has granted me sole possession, proprietorship and use
of.
In accordance with 1 Corinthians 3:17, “If anyone destroys God’s
temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you
together are that temple.” In further accordance with 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of
the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not
your own; you were bought at a
price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” There
are three companies, each with their own Coronavirus Disease 2019 vaccine,
administering their respective vaccine for use in the United States, all of
which involve ingredients and production techniques that violate my body, a temple of God, and my sincerely held beliefs.
Two
of these companies are Pfizer (in partnership with BioNTech) and Moderna, which
both use synthetic messenger RNA in their inoculations. Synthetic messenger RNA
is genetic material which is man-made in a laboratory and a “variation on the
natural substance that directs protein production in cells throughout the
body”, according to Stat. As a result, injecting myself with this
material would bring about a disruption in my God-given body and the way He
made it, with it being His temple, as referenced by the Bible verses in the
previous paragraph. To further understand this, please note that mRNA serves as
“instructions” that direct the production of proteins in the body. However, the
synthetic mRNA, man-made in a lab, being injected into my body would be a
violation of my belief in Psalm 118:8, which states “It is better to take
refuge in the LORD than to trust in humans.” Because it is humans that made
that synthetic product, I must not make it a part of my God-given temple, but
trust that the LORD will protect me.
Further
regarding the mRNA technology used by both the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna
Coronavirus Disease 2019 vaccinations, it is noted in the SEC filings for both
Moderna (updated June 30, 2020) and BioNTech (updated September 9, 2019) that the
mRNA technology is considered gene therapy by the United States Food and Drug
Administration (FDA). This is backed up
by an article in the National Institute of Health’s (NIH’s) PubMed Central collection,
which consists solely of peer-reviewed scientific articles. The article in
question states “…mRNA-based therapeutics are considered gene therapy.”
According to the FDA, gene therapy is defined as “a technique that modifies a
person’s genes to treat or cure disease.” This is an issue with my beliefs because
it conflicts with 1 Corinthians 3:17 and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, as previously
mentioned, due to it bringing about a man-made disruption in my body, a temple
of God, in regards to modifying genes. Furthermore, based on
this FDA definition of gene therapy only being needed to treat or cure disease,
it conflicts with my belief in Matthew 9:12, which states “On hearing this,
Jesus said, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.’” Since I
have no disease to treat or cure, injecting myself with this substance would be
a violation of Matthew 9:12.
In
regard to the third Coronavirus Disease 2019 vaccine granted Emergency Use Authorization
(EUA) in the United States by the FDA, it is made by Johnson & Johnson
(JNJ). This type of vaccine, though not gene therapy, does have a concept of “deliver[ing]
important instructions to our cells”, according to the CDC. Consistent with the
synthetic mRNA used in the Pfizer and Moderna injections, the JNJ viral vector
is man-made in a lab, and it being injected into my body would be a violation
of my belief in Psalm 118:8, which states “It is better to take refuge in the
LORD than to trust in humans.” Because it is humans that made that contrived
product, I must not make it a part of my God-given temple, but trust that the
LORD will protect me. Furthermore, Johnson & Johnson used PER.C6 cell line
technologies in the production of their COVID-19 vaccine, which was obtained
from the retinal tissue of an 18 week old aborted fetus. Jeremiah 1:5 states,
from God, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I
set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet of the nations.” Going off of 1
Corinthians 3:17, which states that “If anyone destroys
God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you
together are that temple”. Based on these statements by and of God the Creator,
it is immoral for me to use any products which at all involve the detriment of
a temple of God, such as the 18 week old fetus whose abortion resulted in the
production of JNJ’s vaccine. All creations, whether purposeful or accidental,
are creations of God from conception and their deaths should be remembered and bodies
preserved, not broken down and used for human experimentation in ways that
alter God’s other temples.
Regarding all three of the COVID-19 vaccines that have come to us as alleged saviors from this pandemic, it is worth noting both who these companies (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson) are in light of this being their alleged goal. I affirm my belief in Matthew 7:15, which states, "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves." History would tell us that these companies do fit the definition of "ravenous wolves." Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson, for instance, have been constant habitual offenders throughout history. It has been admitted in scientific literature that Pfizer is a "habitual offender" which includes performing acts such as suppressing adverse trial results. Johnson & Johnson, meanwhile, has also committed their fair share of crimes, such as allowing asbestos to lurk in their baby powder for decades giving numerous women ovarian cancer, downplaying the risks of opioid consumption, and numerous other things. Moderna, meanwhile, while not having much of a history, has known since at least April 2017 that mRNA/lipid nanoparticle technology inoculated into rats can enter the brain and other places it should not be, we are now seeing that in humans, and still no informed consent regarding this fact is being provided. This is problematic due to this creating the potential to destroy my body, a temple of God, per 1 Corinthians 3:17, as previously discussed. Furthermore, all of these companies stand to make a lot of money from the distribution of their respective vaccines to the masses. A reasonable conclusion can be reached, therefore, that these companies are potentially ravenous wolves, and not true prophets.
Also, according to a study published in PubMed Central, a series
of peer-reviewed studies in the NIH database, “COVID-19 vaccines designed to elicit neutralising antibodies
may sensitise vaccine recipients to more severe disease than if they were not
vaccinated. Vaccines for SARS, MERS and RSV have never been approved, and the
data generated in the development and testing of these vaccines suggest a
serious mechanistic concern: that vaccines designed empirically using the
traditional approach (consisting of the unmodified or minimally modified
coronavirus viral spike to elicit neutralising antibodies), be they composed of
protein, viral vector, DNA or RNA and irrespective of delivery method, may
worsen COVID-19 disease via antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE). This risk is
sufficiently obscured in clinical trial protocols and consent forms for ongoing
COVID-19 vaccine trials that adequate patient comprehension of this risk is
unlikely to occur, obviating truly informed consent by subjects in these trials”.
I believe the purpose of Matthew 9:12 is to inform followers of the Creator that
those who are healthy need not assistance to remain so. To go along with this,
Mark 5:26 states, “She had suffered a great deal under
the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting
better she grew worse.” The result of the CDC’s peer-reviewed study quoted in
this paragraph, coupled with Mark 5:26, are indicative of acquiring a poorer
state of health as a result of attending to care when one is not sick. This would
furthermore result in man-made material resulting in the destruction of one of
God’s temples if it were to come into contact with something in God’s world (in
this case a virus), thus using God’s own works to destroy them, which would be
an abomination. Also, regarding the risk being obscured, to quote the study, many
media outlets are reporting that there is no evidence of antibody dependent
enhancement thus far, but they do not point out the referenced piece of
scientific information, which after coming out in October 2020, has been
updated as of March 2021. To take this injection while there exists this
contradiction between base source and news outlet would itself be contradictory
to my belief in Romans 16:17-18, which states “I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out
for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary
to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not
serving our LORD Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and
flattery they deceive the minds of naïve people.” The mainstream
media, in this case, is teaching me something contrary to what I have learned
from the National Institutes of Health, or is at the very least being deceptive
in their implications that there is no possible way for this to happen, even if
it has not happened already. And regarding how such deceptive people are serving
“their own appetites,” as opposed to the LORD, and by using “flattery” naïve people
are deceived, it is worth noting the ultimate goal of the governments and media
throughout the world is to get everyone, or as many people as possible, injected
with the COVID-19 vaccine, despite scientific sources they say are trustworthy saying
things that would make this goal unnecessary. For example, the Cleveland Clinic
has recently released a study stating that “Individuals who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection
are unlikely to benefit from COVID-19 vaccination, and vaccines can be safely
prioritized to those who have not been infected before”. Furthermore,
Nature.com, a well-respected medicine website, published an article referencing
several studies and reached the conclusion that if you had a previous COVID
infection, you could make antibodies for a lifetime. Even more, a peer-reviewed
study from JCI Insight found that a majority of uninfected adults show
pre-existing antibodies to SARS-COV-2 without even having gotten infected. Despite these scientific observations, the goals of world leaders involve inoculating
as many people as possible, disregarding these facts. Even the CDC has said
that people who have been previously infected should still get vaccinated,
disregarding these findings. This shows me that there is a movement to
vaccinate as many as possible no matter what the situation is, and they are serving,
as Romans 16:17-18 would call it, “their own appetites.” Furthermore the vaccine
has served as a tool that has caused a great deal of division amongst family
and friends, and in some places segregation amongst the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.
Because the vaccine is the ultimate tool that causes the division and it is
being released by entities which release contradictory information, I must stay
away from it, in accordance with Romans 16:17-18. Moreover, regarding the part where “flattery” is used to deceive the naïve, that is happening in
regards to the vaccine right now through the incentivization to receive it,
despite your antibody status, in exchange for free Krispy Kreme doughnuts, Nathan’s
Hot Dogs, Anheuser Busch beer, and numerous other indulgences, including
vaccine lotteries in some territories where the winner wins as much as $1 million.
This use of flattery to deceive populations, whether it be by not warning them
of the chance of antibody dependent enhancement, or by giving them an “unavoidably
unsafe” product when they may not need it, to serve an appetite is something
that contradicts my belief in Romans 16:17-18.
In
spite of my objection to a COVID-19 vaccine, I would be willing to compromise
under a certain set of conditions. If it can be 100% guaranteed that I will not
suffer an injury and/or death from this substance known as the COVID-19
vaccine, that it can be 100% guaranteed that Fairleigh Dickinson University
will accept full liability in the event of injury and/or death, and that any
and all products requested to be received by me by Fairleigh Dickinson
University be both entirely retrievable from and also removable in its entirety
from my body, person, and manhood at the conclusion of each and every visit to
any of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s campuses and also and again at the
completion of my educational endeavors with Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Pursuant to my above statement, I decline the request for Coronavirus Disease 2019 vaccination.
